'Forrest Gump' to hit theatres again for its 20th anniversary

Paramount studio announced that they will re-release 'Forrest Gump' in Imax for the film's 20th anniversary in September.

The news comes the after Sony announced to run a restored and re-mastered version of the 1984 hit 'Ghostbusters' for its 30th anniversary, Deadline.com reported.

The 1994 Academy Award winning film had also gained Tom Hanks the Best Actor and Robert Zemeckis the Best Director Oscar, with its soundtrack selling twelve million copies.
