Lupita Nyong'o and Brad Pitt are set to work together again with Pitt's Plan B production company for the film Adaptation of Novel 'Americanah'.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 50-year-old actor's production company has acquired big-screen rights to the Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie-penned novel and the actor will produce the movie alongside D2 Productions and Potboiler Productions.
Nyongo , who will produce and star in the film adaptation said that it was such an honor to have the opportunity to bring Ms. Adichie's brilliant book to the screen.
The 31-year-old actress said that she was struck by Ifemelu and Obinze's stories, whose experiences as African immigrants were so specific and also so imminently relatable and it was a thrilling challenge to tell a truly international story so full of love, humor and heart.
