Gerard Butler has been signed up to star in 'Geostorm' which will be directed by Dean Devlin.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the project which was being developed independently by David Ellison's Skydance Productions has been picked up by Warner Bros.
The 'Ugly Truth' star will be seen playing a stubborn but charming satellite designer in the sci-fi adventure feature, which will be Devlin's feature directorial debut.
