Mahesh Bhatt, who has always been positive about India and Pakistan working together, recently announced that that he has roped in Ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali to sing for his upcoming play, 'Milne Do.'

The 67-year-old director said that when he approached Ghulam Ali, he gracefully agreed to lend his voice and added that he is not sure whether the Pakistani singer will come to India or not, but he will certainly sing a song for the play, reports the Dawn.

Further talking about the resistance Ghulam Ali faced by the Shiv Sena earlier, Mahesh said that Ali has been a Ghazal king for years and has been coming to India for a long time and asserted that his 'unpleasant experience' was completely unfair.

This isn't the first time the duo will be working together as Ali previously sang a song for the 1990 movie, 'Awaargi.
