Google Gmail's delivery of messages was reportedly disrupted for a couple of hours, days after the search giant's Web apps faced outage lasting five hours.
Google acknowledged that messages sent via Gmail were being received with a delay.
According to PC World, the message delivery system was disrupted around 5 a.m US Eastern Time and the issue was resolved two and half hours later.
Google later posted an update note saying that most of the delayed messages had been delivered and that the remaining messages would be delivered over the next hours.
It is unclear what caused the message delivery system to dysfunction, the report added.
