Google reportedly came up with a peaceful rendition on Martin Luther King Jr. on its doodle section, to pay homage to the legend, who played a prominent role in America's Civil Rights Movement.
The peaceful rendition of Dr. King by the popular search engine on Martin Luther King Jr. day gave a serene depiction of a man, who stood up against racial segregation with peaceful protests.
The doodle featured flying doves and Martin Luther King Jr. himself, which on a single click, opened a page providing historical information on him, Cnet reported.
While some may see it as an effective marketing strategy, doodles on Google often use historical figures, both known and unknown, providing historical facts on important persons and events to people around the globe.
