Google's 'doodle' marks Kishore Kumar's 85th Birthday

The world's most popular search engine, Google, marked late Indian cinema legend Kishore Kumar's 85th birthday with a colourful 'doodle.'

The versatile star, who was one of the most successful singer in Hindi film industry, holds the record for claiming 8 Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer, which is the highest number of award won in the category.

Kumar, who also has hit films like 'Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi' (1958) and 'Padosan' (1968) to his credit as an actor, was active in his career until his death in 1987 due to Cardiovascular disease.
