Gunfight between militants, security forces underway in Kashmir

A gun-battle between suspected militants and security forces took place in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

This incident takes place after unidentified men fired at the residence of the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the region Ghulam Hasan Zargar on Wednesday, following which security arrangements were beefed up.
