Punjabi comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) here on Wednesday.
He joined the AAP in the presence of senior leader Sanjay Singh, who is the in-charge of the party's Punjab affairs, and popular Punjabi comedian and Sangrur Member of Parliament (MP) Bhagwant Mann.
The induction of Ghuggi, who hails from Gurdaspur, will boost the AAP's confidence in Punjab prior to the 2017 assembly polls.
Ghuggi is the second Punjabi actor to join the party after Mann.
