Hekmatyar ready to extend support to new coalition for Afghanistan's stability

Criticizing the Ashraf Ghani government, Hezb-e-Islami leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar in his latest remarks that his party will extend support to any movement or coalition that is formed to bring peace and stability in Afghanistan by ending violence and conflict.

"The political leaders should admit their failures and respond to the demands of the people rather than blaming each other,Hekmatyar made the remarks during a meeting with a group of the youths of the country in his residence.

Apparently pointing towards the new political coalition was formed between Jamiat-e-Islami led by Salahuddin Rabbani and Ata Mohammad Noor, Junbish Millie led by First Vice President General Abdul Rashid Dostum and Wahdat Islami led by deputy chief executive Mohammad Mohaqiq,Hekmatyar has said the new political coalitions or fronts are formed mainly to seek share in the power.

Hezb-e-Islami leader said the political coalitions should not be formed to counter each other and stand against each other but must have specific perspectives and slogans which should not reflect their personal interests.

Gulbadin Hekmatyar has asked President Ashraf Ghani to take more effective steps for peace and choose the path of an intra-Afghan dialogue to end the conflict.

Hekmatyar further added that Hezb-e-Islami will support any movement or coalition that is formed for bring peace and stability,to take the country out of the ongoing crisis and ensure the Islamic values are protected.

He again called on the political leaders for unity and ending the differences in a bid to take the county out of a deadlock.

Insisting that Afghanistan should try to address all its internal differences, challenges and security threats,Hezb-e-Islami leader said that "only Afghans can resolve the differences and issues among each other and there should be no expectations from the outsiders and neighbors to assist in this regard."

Hekmatyar also urged the youths of the country to step efforts for bring peace and stability and unity in the country.
