A Home Guard jawan deployed on election duty died of a heart attack last night in Raxaul of East Champaran District in poll bound Bihar.
The jawan was deployed at polling booth number 69 of Purandara area of Raxaul.
Meanwhile, a clash was reported between the police officials and voters outside booth number 50 in Sheohar District during the voting for the fourth phase of assembly polls.
A total of 776 candidates are battling for 55 seats across seven districts of West Champaran, East Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Gopalgunj and Siwan.
