'Luther' star Idris Elba has expressed his desire of succeeding Daniel Craig as the famous fictional spy, James Bond.
The 40-year-old actor, who is frequently touted as potentially the first black actor to play Bond, told Woman magazine that he would be screaming from the rooftops if he got the Bond part, but said that it was all just a rumour, the Daily Express reported.
Elba added that Bond author Ian Fleming lived in Jamaica and it would be interesting to think what he would have made of a black actor as Bond.
