The All India Football Federation has confirmed that it has submitted all necessary bids required to host the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in 2017.
According to GiveMeGoal.com, AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das said that they were happy to submit all the necessary bid documents before the deadlines.
He further added that he was grateful to Indian President Praful Patel for the initiative taken in following up with the Government in terms of the guarantees required, and ensuring the all the guarantees were ready and could be submitted in time.
Uzbekistan, Ireland and the 2010 FIFA World Cup host South Africa are among other nations that submitted the bid to host the tournament in 2017, the report said.
