Justice R.M. Lodha headed committee, which has been appointed by the Supreme Court, will today pronounce the punishment against IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Rajasthan Royals (RR) and their team officials Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra for betting during the eighth edition of the IPL tournament.
The panel will also decide the fate of the above two IPL franchises.
The apex court had on January 22 this year held that the betting allegations against Meiyappan and Kundra stands proved.
The court had formed a three-member committee of its retired judges, which included Justices Ashok Bhan and R V Raveendran, to determine the punishment for Meiyappan and Kundra.
