Argentina football team captain Lionel Messi has hinted at a move to the Premier League as he followed Chelsea's Instagram account.
Messi reportedly kept Chelsea's fans salivating as he also followed his former Barcelona teammate Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis, while his girlfriend followed the current Premier League leaders on Twitter.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich reportedly believes that he could prise the four-time World Player of the Year away from Barca with some suggesting that the deal could be worth as much as 200 million pounds.
The Argentine maestro has never expressed a desire to play in the Premier League and only signed a contract extension with Barca in May 2014, the Mirror reported.
However, a move and subsequent success on English soil would help rubber stamp his name into the history books as one of the greatest footballers ever, the report added.
