IYC protests for humanitarian consideration of Rehbar-e-Taleem teacher's.

National Secretary of Indian Youth Congress in-charge for the Jammu and Kashmir unit Umashankar Pandey on Thursday leads protest to accrete humanitarian grounds for 65,000 teachers earning respective families should not be put under scrutiny.

The state government's decision to hold a screening test for Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers in Jammu and Kashmir has hit a deadlock as the Indian Youth Congress protests at Lal chock today, demanding revocation of the order.

"There should be no screening test for ReT teachers for teaching quality standards and considering them on humanitarian grounds as they are 65,000 teachers. Considering their families, under humanitarian consideration, they should be looked upon," said Umashankar Pandey.

"ReT teachers should be adjusted and on humanitarian grounds, there screening should be cancelled," he added.

National Conference working President Omar Abdullah had alleged the PDP-led government, should do some serious introspection in the same context, before PDP questions the hard-work, competence and dedication of 65,000 qualified ReT teachers.
