A 19-year-old labourer died while five others sustained injuries after an under construction double-storeyed shop collapsed in Johnu area in Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident, which took place on Saturday evening, involved labourers who were all natives of Ramban district.
On receiving information from locals, police and the Army reached the spot and immediately initiated the rescue operation.
Explaining the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Udhampur, Rayees Bhat, said: "The labourers were working in the under construction shop while a shuttering felt and whole building collapsed."
