'Whiplash' star J.K. Simmons is in talks to join Ben Affleck starrer upcoming film 'The Accountant.'
The Warner Bros. project, which would be helmed by Gavin O'Connor, centers on an accountant who moonlights as an assassin, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
It is believed that Anna Kendrick has also been in talks to star in the film, however, as per the sources the deal may not stick.
Bill Dubuque penned the 2011 Black List script for the film, which is being produced by Lynette Howell and Mark Williams, while Drew Crevello and Jon Gonda oversee the project for Warner Bros.
