Jada Pinkett Smith is in negotiations to star in Warner Bros.' 'Magic Mike XXL.'
If the deal is sealed, the 43-year-old actress, who'll soon be seen in DC Comics origin series 'Gotham,' would play the strip club owner for the sequel to 2012 hit film 'Magic Mike' starring Channing Tatum, Deadline.com reported.
Previously, Pinkett Smith's role in the film, which is set for a July 2015 release, was to be played by a guy.
The original movie, which was directed by Steven Soderberg, and financed by Tatum and Soderberg, also starred Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, and had grossed 113.7 million dollars at the domestic box office.
