Jake Gyllenhaal, who has produced and acted in his new movie 'Nightcrawler', has said that he wished more producers understood about acting and vice versa.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 33-year-old actor asserted during a panel discussion that acting was an extremely juvenile and selfish profession, but he also believed on the flip side of that coin that it could also produce great empathy.
Of being both a producer and star in 'Nightcrawler', the American actor said that the postproduction was delicate because when one was in nearly every frame and it required objectivity and a brutality, which came easily as an actor.
