Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav shared the same stage with Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh during the inauguration of 367-acre Janeshwar Mishra Park here today.
Amar Singh, who used to be a confidante of Mulayam once upon a time, has reportedly joined the mega event on the latter's invitation.
On January 6 2010, Amar Singh had resigned from all posts of Samajwadi Party and was expelled from the party by Mulayam Singh Yadav on 2 February 2010.
Since then, Amar Singh went on to form his own party 'Rashtriya Lok Manch' but failed to create an impact. He then tried his luck by contesting Lok Sabha polls on Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) ticket from Fatehpur Sikri seat of UP, but lost.
