Japanese firm constructs school library in Thailand
The ORIX Miyauchi Foundation, in cooperation with its local subsidiary in Thailand, Thai ORIX Leasing Co., Ltd. has constructed a library for the Wat Pho Thong elementary school in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
A completion ceremony was held on November 27.
The Wat Pho Thong School is a Buddhist public elementary school with an adjoining kindergarten that teaches about 150 children. In this project, the company has constructed a raised-floor library which has an atrium space in the first floor, next to the two-floor school.
In the past, TOLC constructed two education centers for schools in northeastern Thailand in 2007-08, and have continued their efforts by vigorously participating in the activities needed to realize the current project.
