The Janata Dal-United (JD-U), which has tied up with the Lalu Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), on Monday said that people who want development will cast their vote for Nitish Kumar in the upcoming Bihar assembly polls.
"Polarisation has already taken place in Bihar with or without Nitish Kumar. There is no need of polarisation, as the people who want to vote for development, will vote for Nitish Kumar," JD(U) leader K.C Tyagi said in a press conference.
He also added that in Bihar it is Nitish Kumar or no Nitish Kumar.
Polls for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases starting on October 12 and ending on November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
