Former Delhi law minister Jitender Singh Tomar's police custody has been extended for four days.
The AAP leader was last week arrested in connection with his fake law degree.
Tomar has so far reiterated that his degree is not fake and accused the BJP-led government at the Centre of hatching a conspiracy into the entire episode.
Tomar, who resigned as Delhi's Law Minister last week, is accused of possessing two fake degrees: a law degree and a BSC degree.
An FIR was lodged against him on Monday under IPC Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B for criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery.
