Based on specific information, the Indian Army along with troops of Jammu and Kashmir Police in Kalakote, Rajouri district recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in the area of Lal Forest.
In the ensuing search operation recovered two pistols, three radio sets, two anti personal mines, twenty rounds of AK-47 ammunition, three rounds of pistol ammunition, two hand grenades, one magazine of AK-47 and other war like stores.
The timely recovery of the cache has prevented any untoward incident in the area, thereby thwarting the designs of the terrorists.
The Army has been conducting relentless operations to ensure peace and stability in the region.
