A journalist in Mumbai was allegedly assaulted by some unknown men, when he was trying to board the local train.
The journalist received head injuries, and was bleeding profusely, though the injuries are not serious in nature.
A case has been registered at the Andheri police station against the perpetrators and some people have been arrested in this regard.
On the basis of preliminary reports, it appears to be a case of a scuffle caused by on the spot argument between the journalist and the men. It does not appear to be a case of personal enmity or a calculated assault on the journalist.
