Kanye West, who interrupted Beck during his Album of the Year Grammy speech, has defended his action saying that "voices in his head" told him to storm the stage.
The 37-year-old rapper told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that he felt like just the whole Grammys, right when that happened, everybody was looking at him, and then people started screaming his name but that did not happen as this was all in going in his head, News.com.au reported.
The 'Only One' singer continued that therefore, he just walked up, like, halfway up the stage.
The American rapper said that Beck is one of the nicest guys and one of the most respected musicians in the game and there was nothing that he would want to do as a fellow musician to disrespect him in any way.
