Kanye West's step brother, Hal Carmichael, has revealed that the 37-year-old rapper controls his wife Kim Kardashian.
Carmichael, whose mother Cheryl married West's dad Ray in 1997, said that the 'Heartless' singer constantly worries about Kardashian and daughter North because he knows the kidnap risk is high, the Mirror reported.
Carmichael added that West, who thinks the more the public see of his family, the more at risk they are, has to think about it carefully nowadays because of the lifestyle they lead and so he controls Kardarshian, like where she travels and what she does, to protect her.
Carmichael further added that the duo want to be the next big power couple and that comes from exposure.
He continued that the 34-year-old reality star being on television is a compromise, but West knows that's her career and he'll support her.
The relative stated that West, to protect his daughter, keeps his inner circle tight with North since she'll only be looked after by her grandmother Kris Jenner or her aunties, though they have a nanny as well.
Carmichael added that the West family always have two security guards with them, even when he went to his sister's last month, he took them with him and they drive around in armoured car.
