The Kerala government will name its proposed Technological University in honour of former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

"Kerala will be the first state honouring Dr Kalam, by naming the proposed Technological University as APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University," said state Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
