Kevin Spacey, Michelle Williams to star in Ridley Scott's next?

Hollywood superstars Kevin Spacey, Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg are in talks to star in Ridley Scott's upcoming thriller.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the movie titled 'All the Money in the World,' which is being made by Tri-Star pictures, is about the infamous Getty kidnapping.

The story revolves around John Paul Getty III, who was 16 years old and living in Rome, when he was kidnapped. The mobsters demanded 17 million USD for his return but the senior Getty, famous for his penny-pinching ways, refused. Weeks later, the boy's ear arrived at a newspaper office.

J. Paul Getty still refused to pay and a negotiation ensued, with the billionaire finally paying 2.2 million USD.

Initially, Natalie Portman was in talks to play the role of Abigail Getty, Getty III's mother, but that role now may go to Williams should a deal be made.

Spacey would play the patriarch, while Walhberg would play Fletcher Chase, an ex-CIA agent dispatched to Rome.
