Hollywood sensation Lady Gaga has stepped into the spotlight in the trailer of 'A star is born', also starring Bradley Cooper.
The 1937 film of the same name is about a star who helps an aspiring young actress find fame as he struggles with his own demons, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
The trailer opened with musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) performing at an outdoor concert. When Maine discovers struggling artist Ally (Lady Gaga), he believes that his luck has turned around. Footage is also shown of the pair falling in love as Ally's career begins to take off.
In one scene, Maine encourages Ally to take the stage with him. Although she refuses at first, she eventually joins him in front of a screaming crowd.
The trailer concludes with Ally performing in front of a large audience.
Directed by Cooper, 'A Star Is Born' is slated to hit the theaters on October 5.
