Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Monday expressed the hope that the Winter Session of Parliament will be constructive and said that her efforts would be to see that it runs peacefully.
"Yes a lot if issues will be debated, I am confident that the winter session of Parliament will be constructive," Mahajan told mediapersons here where asked how fruitful this Session would be.
"My effort will be to see that work happens peacefully and everybody gets a chance. I am ready to give everybody a chance," she added.
Earlier today the month long Winter session of the Parliament began. Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day after the obituary references.
Before the beginning of this Session, Prime Minister NarendraModi said that he expected the cooperation which opposition party showed last time will be displayed in this session too.
