London's Artesian named world's best bar

London's Artesian has named world's best bar by a drinks magazine.

According to the list by Drinks International magazine, Artesian was named the Polignac World's Best Bar for the third year in a row at a ceremony, while Dead Rabbit in New York came second, followed by Nightjar, London, the Independent reported.

Other UK bars featured on the list include speakeasy-style joints Nightjar, Happiness Forgets, and Callooh Callay. Mixologists at more traditional hotel hangouts such as The American Bar at The Savoy, and the Connaught Bar were also celebrated, and fought off fierce overseas competition.
