Mandela's family to attend Oscars for U2 performance

Nelson Mandela's daughters will be attending the Academy Awards to see U2 perform the Oscar-nominated song 'Ordinary Love' from 'Mandela

His daughters, Zindzi and Zenani, said in a statement that the invitation to the Oscars is especially meaningful to them because of how much their father loved watching movies, Deadline.com reported.

The duo added that 'Ordinary Love' was inspired by the beautiful letters their father and mother, Winnie Mandela, exchanged while he was imprisoned at Robben Island.
