Microsoft has reportedly updated Skype for Windows and Mac desktops.
According to PC World, Microsoft's Skype announced version 7.0 for the Mac together with a new preview version for the Windows desktop.
The new updated versions for both the desktops include a number of potentially attractive productivity improvements, including the ability to chat and talk at the same time in the new Mac version.
Tom Huang, a Skype exec, wrote in a blog post that the company had dedicated a lot of time to refresh the chat experience in Skype for the last year, adding that it had brought more improvements to the desktop.
