Elon Musk has said that that tunnels, not airborne cars, are the future of transport.

The billionaire technologist, who is expected to unveil the new Tesla D car, said during Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit in San Francisco that he isn't sure about the flying cars and if the sky was full of cars flying all over the place, it would affect how things look. It would affect the skyline.

He said that it would be noisier and there would be a greater probability of something falling on your head and those are not good things.

Musk added that on the other hand, one would be able to go from one place to another faster.
