Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Wednesday stated that the Congress was now using all its weight to stop him from coming to power and hence was using dirty tricks as part of it.

Modi asked: "The ruling Congress party is feeling the heat to stop me from coming to power. Tell me will the Congress be able to stop me? Can it save its government?- the answer from the crowd came with a resounding 'No'."

"The Congress believes that if Modi comes to power then where will be its place. Should those people who have looted the country be pardoned? They are not shameful or concerned about it and hence continue to rule," Modi said at a rally in Kolkata.

"The dirty tricks department of the Congress is burning the midnight oil to find new ways of attacking me. Whatever they have used till now has all been used for the last ten years," Modi said this in an apparent reference to Priyanka Gandhi of late alleging him of practicing low-level of politics.

"Lately they have alleged that I introduced low-level politics. Those who come and take the heads of those who take away the heads of our soldiers to Pakistan and his widow seeks to get back his head on one hand in that situation the mother-son duo Government in Delhi serves chicken biriyani to Pakistan prime minister is low-level politics," Modi also added.

Modi raked up the Adarsh Housing Society scam and the Commonwealth games scams, not even stopping from doing corruption on toilet papers.

He took up the matter of how for the sake of retaining power the Congress has even taken the route of freeing the convicts out of jail in an apparent reference to Lalu Prasad Yadav with whom the Congress has forged an alliance.

Modi taunted West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee as he said due to his popularity is increasing rapidly here that she gets very angry. He remarked how Mamata keeps remembering him countless number of times and her slangs gets transformed into flowers when it reaches him.

Modi also asked Mamata not to buy ropes for him in order to drag him to jail instead he will come to the jail where he will be asked to come.

"Didi said she will send me to prison. She will get tender to buy rope where even the Saradha Chit Fund people will submit bid for the tender to get ropes and the process will go on and on," Modi said.
