Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Sunday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is mistaken if he thinks that he can become the Prime Minister of the country.
"In this country of 120 crore people, if he (Modi) thinks that he can become the prime minister then he is mistaken," Sibal said.
On the recent revolt in the BJP by Jaswant Singh, Sibal said, "I have been saying this for a longtime that there is no 'namonishan' (existence) of the BJP but there is only 'Namo'. It can be seen in their advertisements which are only showcasing Modi and nobody else.
"These days, there are no comments from the BJP. Their leaders are not delivering speeches. It was very evident. There has been a takeover of the BJP by Modi," he added.
