Minister of State for Defence Jitendra Singh visited Air Headquarters where he was received by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, on Tuesday.
He was briefed about the operational capability of the Indian Air Force and was apprised of the modernisation plan for further operational capability build up of the IAF.
The status of projects with defence production establishments were discussed.
On the side line, Singh was briefed on the Republic day fly past at the fly past control room.
He also got a chance to see the practice flypast for the Republic Day.
