Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi met senior BJP leader L.K Advani here on Tuesday.
This was the first interaction between Advani and Modi since the latter had resigned from three key forums of the BJP in the wake of the former's elevation to head the party's 2014 poll campaign committee. Advani, however, later withdrew his resignation on the intervention of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Modi, who is in Delhi to meet Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia to finalise Gujarat's annual plan, earlier met senior party leader M.M Joshi at his residence.
" He (Modi) came to express his gratitude after being anointed as Chairman of BJP campaign committee," Joshi told media after meeting Modi.
" He told me that he is including everyone in the process and will uphold this responsibility well," he added.
Modi will later hold talks with party chief Rajnath Singh and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Meanwhile, Bhagwat is also expected to meet Advani today.
Bhagwat, who had played a significant role in asking Advani to withdraw his resignation from key posts of the BJP last week, has decided to meet the latter despite him voicing grievance over Modi's elevation as the BJP's 2014 poll panel chief.
