The National Press Day was observed at the Manipur Press Club in Imphal on Sunday.
The event was organized by the All Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU).
Valley Rose of 'Aja Daily' paper received the best editor award.
"This kind of occasion is very good because the government is appreciating our hard work and they are giving an award for the best journalist so this kind of occasion encourage us to work for a better society," said journalist Karnajeet Singh.
