NBC cancels 'Up Late' post Alec Baldwin gay remarks

NBC has cancelled Alec Baldwin's series 'Up Late' after the actor's controversial homophobic remarks.
The network and the 55-year-old actor's rep jointly announced that the series will not continue on MSNBC, Fox News reported.
MSNBC had already suspended Baldwin's low-rated news program last week after the actor allegedly made a gay slur directed toward a photographer outside his New York City apartment earlier this month.
A Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) rep told FOX411 that the '30 Rock' star can't fight for equality on paper, while degrading gay people in practice.
