No evidence of impropriety found against Mo Farah: UK Athletics

A UK Athletics review on the doping claims against Mo Farah's coach Alberto Salazar on Thursday has found no evidence of impropriety against the British sprinter.

A statement released by UK Athletics said that none of the 'extensive information' supplied to the review panel contained 'any evidence of impropriety' by Farah or gave them reason to 'question the appropriateness of the input' into his preparation given by Salazar's team, the BBC reported.

Announcing the initial findings of 'the first and most vital objective of the review', UK Athletics said that a full report would be made public after next month's World Championships in Beijing.

Earlier, Farah was questioned for five hours by the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) as a part of investigation regarding claims of breach of anti-doping rules by Salazar.

The Briton has come under heavy scrutiny after an investigation alleged that Salazar, who was hired as Farah's coach in 2011, doped United States 10,000 metre record holder Galen Rupp in 2002, when the athlete was 16-years-old.
