David Luiz has described Angel Di Maria as 'one of the best players in the world' and expressed that he would like to see the Manchester United winger join him at Paris Saint-Germain.
Di Maria, who moved to United following his record 59.7million pounds transfer from Real Madrid, has failed to join the Premier League club's pre-season tour.
While United manager Louis van Gaal conceded that he has no idea where the Argentine is, PSG manager Laurent Blanc said that a deal for Di Maria is very close.
PSG defender Luiz, who played with Di Maria at Benfica between 2007 and 2010, said that the Argentine makes the difference in every single team he plays in, adding that he hoping to see him at the French club, the BBC reported.
The 27-year-old struggled with form and fitness last season after having a promising start to his United career.
