Now, Kejriwal writes to Rahul Gandhi on gas pricing issue

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi over the gas pricing issue.

In the letter, the former Delhi chief minister has questioned Rahul Gandhi over the gas pricing issue, and asked him if he approves of the government paying eight dollars per unit to Mukesh Ambani for procuring gas.

Kejriwal had earlier written a letter to Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and asked him to "clear his stand" on a gas price hike that he alleges was in favour to Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani.

Later addressing media persons, Kejriwal said he has asked Modi in the letter as to why was he silent on the gas pricing issue.

"I request Modi to break his silence on the gas pricing issue," he said.

He asked, "Some people say that Mukesh Ambani is running the government in reality. Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi use helicopters and private jets to travel in India. Who does it belong to and who pays for them?"

He asserted that his party would not accept any election-related donations from Mukesh Ambani.
