Low intensity earthquake hits northeast

A low intensity earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit the north eastern states last night.
The earthquake occurred around 10.35 p.m, but there were no reports of casualties.
The epicentre was in Arunachal Pradesh's West Kameng district, according to the Regional Seismological Centre in Shillong.
Tremor was also felt in the adjoining states of Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.
