NZ PM John Key says he's 'not a shapeshifting alien reptile'

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key has insisted that he is not a shapeshifting reptilian alien after an Auckland man put in an Official Information Act (OIA) request asking for a proof that Key might be one.

Key was quoted saying that he has even got himself checked with a doctor and a vet, who have confirmed that he is not a reptile, adding that he has never been in a spaceship or been to outer space.

According to 3News, Shane Warbrooke had put in the OIA request to the prime minister's office asking for 'any evidence to disprove the theory Key was in fact a David Icke style shapeshifting reptilian alien ushering humanity towards enslavement.'

Icke, a British author, believes many world leaders are actually part of a plot to enslave the human race, driven by reptilian shapeshifting aliens.

However, Warbrooke's request was denied under the act by the prime minister's office citing no existence of the document allegedly containing the information.

Warbrooke, who is a writer and musician, said that he put in the request as a joke alongside some other more serious requests as part of his research into UFOs, but was happy with the OIA response, the report added.

Meanwhile, Key, who took the entire alien episode sportingly, said that he would describe himself as just an ordinary Kiwi bloke.
