Newly-appointed Pakistan's caretaker Prime Minister Justice (Retd.) Nasir-ul-Mulk met Army chief General Qamar Jawed Bajwa to take stock of current security situation of the country.
As reported by the Geo News, matters related to the Pakistani army also came up during the discussions held at the Prime Minister's office in Islamabad.
Bajwa felicitated caretaker Prime Minister Mulk for holding his position in the office and extended well wishes to him.
Justice (Retd.) Mulk, who is the seventh caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, was sworn in as the caretaker PM on June 1.
His oath was administered by President Mamnoon Hussain. He will hold the office until a new elected Prime Minister comes to power post the results of the July 25 general elections are announced.
