Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, today accused Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of attempting to impress the terrorists with his assertion on the prevailing situation in the Kashmir valley.

"Nawaz Sharif is probably trying to please the terrorists of Pakistan by making such statements. Their dream will never be true. Kashmir is an integral part of India and will be till eternity," said Kharge.

He added, "The people of India unitedly condemn such statement and will never let this dream turn to reality."

The Pakistan Prime Minister had earlier called Wani a martyr and accused India of human rights violations in the valley. He also said that Pakistan would continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for "right to self-determination."

Referring to the steps initiated by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti over the unrest in the valley, Kharge said, "Mehbooba knows the situation of Kashmir better and should take some serious action and if she fails to do so then she will be indirectly responsible.
