Pak poll body to hold Senate elections on March 3

Senate elections in Pakistan's four provinces -- Punjab, Sindh, North West Frontier Province and Balochistan, and Islamabad and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), will be held on March 3, as 52 out of 104 senators will retire on March 11.

Today (February 19) is the last day to withdraw nomination papers for the elections from the provinces.

According to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), candidates can take back their nominations by 4 p.m. today, after which the final list of candidates will be issued.
